At Solutions 4 Health, we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all individuals who come into contact with our services. We recognise our responsibility to protect those who are at risk of harm, abuse, or exploitation, including children, young people, and adults.
We adhere to all relevant legislation and guidance, including Section 11 of the Children Act 2004 and the Care Act 2014. Our policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practice. All staff members are trained in safeguarding and are aware of their responsibilities to report any concerns or suspicions of abuse or neglect.
Safeguarding is firmly embedded in the core duties of all our services across the organisations. We are compliant in meeting our statutory responsibilities for safeguarding, which include making sure there is clear leadership and lines of accountability, having appropriate policies and procedures, providing safeguarding training and working in partnership with relevant agencies to protect children and adults at risk of harm.
We are committed to making sure safeguarding is a high priority at all levels of the organisation.
To achieve this, there are robust arrangements in place to provide strong leadership.
All eligible staff working with Solutions 4 Health are required to complete a disclosure and barring service (DBS) check. Enhanced level checks are also carried out, where appropriate, and where safeguarding responsibilities are included in the employee’s job description.
We are committed to partnership working and are key members of Safeguarding Children Partnership Boards and Safeguarding Adult Boards.
